Tips For Traveling with a Cat

Pack Early

Start packing for your trip at least two weeks in advance so you have plenty of time to get everything you need.

Choose the Right Carrier

The right carrier will make all the difference in your cat's comfort and safety during the trip.

Get Your Cat Used to the Carrier

Before your trip, start getting your cat used to the carrier by leaving it open in a room where they spend a lot of time.

Bring a Copy

In case of an emergency, it's important to have a copy of your cat's medical records with you.

Bring a Spare Litter Box

It's a good idea to bring a spare litter box with you in case your cat has an accident.

Feed Your Cat

Don't change your cat's food routine just because you're traveling. Stick to their regular food to avoid stomach upset.

Plenty of Exercise

Even if you're traveling by car, it's important to give your cat plenty of exercise. This will help them stay calm and comfortable during the trip.
